Brand Voice + Creative Writing Workshop (coming soon)

As a copywriter, humor writer, and comedian, I am obsessed with getting into and staying in a creative state. In this workshop, I leverage the skills I’ve learned from stand up, sketch writing, copywriting, and a painful but formative stint in improv to help people tap into their creativity, fight writer’s block, and create authentic, on-brand copy.

Site Refresh

Good if you like your site, but you don’t love it. We’ll set up a 60-minute kickoff call, and I’ll then audit your site to see how it can better support your goals. After two weeks, I’ll hand off my findings, recommendations, and refreshed copy.

Includes:

  • 90-minute content strategy review + recommendations

  • A copy clean-up and refresh

Site From Scratch

Good if you don’t have a site, or you want to burn yours to the ground. We’ll set up a 90-minute kickoff call to talk through your brand and goals. From there, I’ll write clear, concise copy for your site, all within your brand voice.

Includes:

  • 90-minute content strategy presentation

  • All new site copy that actually sounds like you

    • For Home, About, and one “Service” page

    • Covers two rounds of revisions (one major, one minor)

Experience

Freelance writer with 10+ years of industry experience.

I come from the advertising world where I wrote ads for brands of all shapes and sizes, most notably Maker’s Mark and Jim Beam. In 2017, I left my ad agency job to pursue a career in comedy, which afforded me the distinct pleasure of hearing my coworkers say, "That’s so weird—we had no idea you were funny.”

Now, as a freelancer, I devote my time and talents to projects and people I truly connect with, while also writing stories and creating characters that make people laugh.

In my free time, I eat scones and draw pictures of Guy Fieri as Hades from the 1997 film Hercules

Brands I’ve worked with:

Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Yard House, Fifth Season, The Wayback Hotel, Gift Shop Magazine, The Capital Burger, The US-Japan Foundation, Norton Healthcare, among others.
